How to post a Ren'Py browser game

Hello everyone! I'm sorry but the translation improvement is late. Nevertheless, many people play our game. I'm glad, thank you so much!

In this article, I show my method to post my Ren'Py browser game.

At first, build a web application.

 ↓

Second, open the build directory. Select all files in this directory, and make a zip file.

 ↓

After that, upload it on itch.io, and...

click the check box "This file will be played in the browser".

There are a few of  embedded options also.

That's all.

Please note that Ren'Py browser games are not stable on the iPhone (at least on my iPhone).

By the way, Ren'Py v7.4 was pre-released. It seems to contain some important and interesting changes. If building browser games by v7.4, data loading and music become smoother. I'm looking forward to the stable release of v7.4.

I recommend to use Ren'Py 7.5 or newer version to build the browser games. It is able to play on the iPhone now.

It may not work well depending on the version of Ren'Py used for the build and the OS/browser version of the mobile device. In such cases, I build with other Ren'Py versions or try different devices or browsers. It's a bit hard. It would be nice if I had the knowledge and skills to submit an engine modification proposal with GitHub, but that is difficult for me...
